Gaming technology manufacturer Quixant has announced the launch of its advanced JAMMA hardware platform at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) – the IQ Connect 1. The product, Quixant’s latest addition to its range of hardware platforms, follows the success of the IQ 2 earlier this year.
Quixant describes the IQ Connect 1 as designed to deliver “unparalleled flexibility, power, and affordability”, and is specifically tailored for the North American route and distributed gaming markets.

Leveraging an Intel Atom x7000 Series Processor, the IQ Connect 1 delivers enhanced CPU performance and fast memory access, ensuring smooth operation “even in the most demanding gaming environments.”
Its passively cooled design guarantees reliability and longevity, with a commitment to a 10-year product lifecycle. With integrated Intel UHD graphics, the platform supports up to three displays and features an LED interface.
Engineered for versatility, the IQ Connect 1 boasts multiple pinouts and supports various input and output configurations, making it compatible with a wide range of electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and systems. The platform’s advanced JAMMA interface board enables “seamless switching” between different pin layouts, eliminating the need for additional harnessing and cabling.
