Ahead of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas, BMM Innovation Group (BIG) is preparing to showcase a range of offerings spanning testing, cybersecurity, and training solutions.

The group will feature products from BMM Testlabs, BIG Cyber, and RG24seven Virtual Training, emphasizing their capabilities in testing and certifying gaming products, providing managed cybersecurity services, and offering compliance-grade educational content for the gaming industry.

Yogonet connected with Martin Storm, President, Chairman and CEO of the BMM Innovation Group, to discuss their key goals for G2E, the current industry trends expected to shape discussions at the event, and the role BIG Group aims to play in supporting the evolving gaming landscape globally.

What new products and services will the company be presenting and highlighting at Global Gaming Expo this year?

At G2E this year, the BMM Innovation Group (BIG Group) will present services and solutions from our three companies: BMM Testlabs, BIG Cyber, and RG24seven Virtual Training. From BMM Testlabs, we’re excited to reinforce our ability to test, inspect, and certify any gaming product to any standards established or adopted by gaming regulators; and highlight that our reports are accepted by the regulatory authorities of nearly every regulated gaming jurisdiction worldwide. Our Tribal and government professionals will also be at the show, ready to discuss how we support regulators, including education, training, field inspections, insights, and guidance.

From BIG Cyber, our team will highlight our managed cybersecurity services tailored for the global gaming industry, including AI/Machine Learning-based solutions, cyber-awareness training, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, cyber risk quantification, and risk management. We can also serve as any company’s virtual security team, including providing vCISO services.

From our RG24seven Virtual Training division, we’ll share the new educational content we’ve added to our library, including responsible gaming training with Spanish and Portuguese subtitles. Our training is responsible, effective, and free to any gaming company worldwide. It is created and presented by industry experts and is compliance-grade. We’re excited to see RG24seven continue adding new and relevant content to provide vital education for gaming employees as the gaming industry’s number one learning platform.

What specific goals is the company aiming to achieve at the event, and which markets are you targeting?

Through the BIG Group, we attend about 80 industry events, conferences, and trade shows each year, and the Global Gaming Expo is undoubtedly one of the most important. We appreciate the opportunity it allows us to meet with so many of our top customers and network with many of our key partners. We use the show to reinforce our mission and values and drive new business for our companies. We’ll have the presidents of Land-Based Gaming and Digital Gaming at the show, Kirk White and Marzia Turrini, and they’ll be engaging with customers to reinforce the many testing and certification services that we offer for every land-based and online gaming and lottery product. Our Chief Government and Regulatory Officer, Travis Foley, will be at G2E with his technical and Tribal teams to meet with regulators and share the education, training, and support we offer for new and emerging jurisdictions and the many new technologies that are expanding across North America and the world. And we’ll have representatives from BIG Cyber and RG24seven Virtual Training at G2E to offer live demonstrations of our cybersecurity and virtual training solutions. We hope everyone stops by our Booth No. 4408 to learn more about the BIG Group.

Which major trends do you see gaining momentum in the gaming sector that you expect to be discussed at G2E?

At G2E, here are a few key trends we can expect to see people talking about:
Brazil is gaming’s hottest emerging market, with the legalization of sports betting and iGaming. There will be lots of discussions at G2E about this market, its enormous potential, how to enter the market, and the potential for the legalization of land-based gaming in the near future.

New Technology in Gaming: As innovative new mobile, digital, online, and payment products and solutions expand across the globe, Tribal and commercial regulators will be discussing how to navigate and effectively regulate these new gaming technologies.

Integration of AI and Machine Learning: Everyone is talking about AI and how it transforms game development, player engagement, and customer service. Innovations in personalized gaming experiences and predictive analytics on player behavior will be hot topics at the show, as will the use of AI/Machine Learning for cybersecurity threat monitoring and its many other applications for our industry.

Sustainability and Responsible Gaming: With growing awareness of social responsibility, the focus on sustainable gaming practices and responsible gambling initiatives will be significant, including discussions on industry standards and best practices. Responsible Gaming and Anti-Money Laundering are central to Brazil’s newly regulated market, so you’ll hear a lot about those topics related to Brazil and other new and emerging markets.

Virtual and Augmented Reality: As VR and AR technologies advance, their applications in gaming are becoming more sophisticated. At G2E, we expect to gain more insights on immersive experiences and the potential for new game mechanics using VR and AR. Show attendees will see VR and AR applications in some of the products on display in the slot manufacturers’ booths.
