Swedish iGaming provider Play’n GO has announced a new operator partnership with Veikkaus, the Finnish state lottery. The partnership will see classic Play’n GO titles such as Book of Dead, Reactoonz, and Gargantoonz available to Veikkaus players for the very first time.

The deal further expands Play’n GO’s global presence, being already active in over 30 jurisdictions around the world and boasting a portfolio of over 350 games. In February of 2024, the Swedish-founded gaming giant published a study showing public preference for the banning of Bonus Buy games.

Henrik Gedda, Head of Regional Sales, Nordics and Eastern Europe at Play’n GO, said: “We’re pleased to team up with Veikkaus, a brand that is committed to a safe, sustainable industry, led by player entertainment, and who share our views on not offering Bonus Buy games.

They are perfect partners for Play’n GO. We’re excited to see Veikkaus players interact with Book of Dead and Reactoonz for the first time, and we’re confident this partnership will prove to be very fruitful in the coming years.”

Veikkaus is a Finnish gambling company entirely owned by the state of Finland. It holds the exclusive right to operate gambling games in the country, with a selection including lotteries, slot machines, and other casino games, as well as betting and Toto games and instant tickets. Veikkaus has over 2,5 million customers.

Play’n GO participated in G2E earlier this month, which brought together industry leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders from across the North American gaming sector and beyond. Sharing insights with Yogonet in an exclusive interview, Saam Hafezi, Regional Director US at Play’n GO, said:

“Globally, we are known for flagship titles like Book of Dead, but we are also pioneers in grid slot games, which offer a fresh and innovative way to engage players. We aim to provide diverse forms of entertainment that keep players engaged and entertained, ensuring they enjoy their experience with our games, as we know they have many entertainment options available.

We need to make sure that the players are satisfied and enjoying themselves every second that they’re playing our games because it’s their discretionary income after all.”
