Magnolia Bluffs Casino in Natchez, Mississippi, remains closed owing to IT issues, with no date set for reopening. The casino was forced to close on Friday afternoon because of a computer glitch, according to media reports.
Other casino properties of Saratoga Holdings, Magnolia Bluffs’ parent company, have also reportedly closed because of problems within the company’s computer system.
“Magnolia Bluffs Casino is currently experiencing IT issues. We are working diligently to resolve the problem. We will reopen as soon as possible,” Amy Brannigan, Director of Marketing for Saratoga Casino Holdings, told The Natchez Democrat.
Brannigan subsequently confirmed on Saturday evening that the computer problems had also affected the company’s casinos in Colorado and New York.
“All properties were impacted in some way,” Brannigan told the above-cited publication. Saratoga Holdings also owns casinos and property in Saratoga Springs, New York, and Black Hawk, Colorado. “Unfortunately, we have no update on a timeframe (for opening the casino in Natchez) yet,” she added.
Saratoga Casino Holdings purchased Magnolia Bluffs and its accompanying hotel in April 2022, taking over operations in October of that year after going through the state’s regulatory process.
