Flutter Entertainment has announced a restructuring of its leadership and organizational structure, with changes taking effect in January 2025.
The company is consolidating its international operations into five regions which are the UK & Ireland (UKI), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Southern Europe & Africa (SEA), Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), and Brazil, under a newly expanded International Division.
Dan Taylor, the current CEO of International, will lead the enlarged division, while the United States business will remain unchanged under Amy Howe’s leadership as US CEO.
Kevin Harrington, the current CEO of PokerStars, has been appointed as the new CEO for Flutter’s UK & Ireland (UKI) division, replacing Ian Brown. Brown, who served in the role for over two years, is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. Harrington’s promotion will take effect on January 1, 2025, with him reporting to Taylor.
Commenting on his appointment, Harrington said: “I’m incredibly proud to be given the chance to take over and run a business I first joined more than a decade ago. I want to continue the work that has made Flutter the clear market leader across the UK and Ireland and maintain the high standards we have set – with responsible gambling at the core of all our work.”
Harrington brings a wealth of experience to the role, having joined Betfair in 2012 before rising through various leadership positions, including Chief Commercial Officer for Flutter’s International division and Managing Director of Betfair.

He has transformed the UK and Ireland business on almost every metric and he will be a hard act to follow. Kevin’s promotion is very well-deserved and the business will be in safe hands as we embark on the next phase of our growth plan.”
The restructuring aligns with Flutter’s strategy to strengthen its global presence following a series of mergers and acquisitions. The move to streamline its operations under a two-divisional model, International and US, is aimed at enhancing scalability and driving growth across its markets.
The UK & Ireland division will continue to oversee prominent brands such as Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola, and PokerStars.
Flutter’s third-quarter financial results, announced earlier this month, revealed a notable 74% increase in EBITDA to $450 million. The company also raised its revenue and EBITDA guidance.
