Live! Casino Pittsburgh marked its fourth anniversary by unveiling a series of new additions designed to enhance its gaming and event spaces. The upgrades, completed over four months, include a poker room, a high-limit table games area, and a revamped event venue.

The enhancements, officially opened on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, aim to address shifting customer preferences and provide a more dynamic experience. The ceremonial first hands were played by State Senator Kim Ward and Pittsburgh hockey legend Phil Bourque.

The first-floor poker room, situated near the main gaming area, spans 1,400 square feet and features six tables alongside large-screen TVs, in a modern setting. Meanwhile, close to the main entrance, the high-limit table games area adds to the property with three tables for poker and other favorites, a bar, and additional TV screens.

On the second floor, the new Social Club caters to group events, accommodating gatherings ranging from casual meet-ups to formal celebrations. The venue’s layout can host 20 to 100 guests, with its location near Sports & Social Steel City adding convenience for visitors.

General Manager Sean Sullivan said back in July that these additions stemmed directly from customer input. “These improvements are a result of the continuous feedback we receive through a robust engagement process with our guests and our dedicated team members,” Sullivan said in the previous statement.

This isn’t the first time Live! Casino Pittsburgh has updated its offerings. In 2021, it introduced a high-limit gaming area, a poker room, and an event center called The Venue Live! to better serve its patrons.

It’s incredible to think that we’ve been part of this community for four years and it just keeps getting better,” Sullivan told Play Pennsylvania. “These investments underscore our commitment to being a good community partner and world-class gaming and entertainment destination.”
