The debut of GAT Caribe Cancún will take place today from 9 a.m. at the Cancun Exhibition Center, where its organizers expect a large attendance and at its full-day academic agenda.

For GAT, Cancun is “a strategic scenario” to analyze the future of the Mexican and Latin American industry, and “a great opportunity” to know in depth the local gaming ecosystem integrated into the global industry and the brands that lead the sector in the continent.

The trade show will host regulators, operators, suppliers, and manufacturers seeking to maximize their participation in a market in constant growth, taking into account that there are more than 90 million potential players in Mexico.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of Gaming & Technology Expo (GAT Expo), said: “We have poured our heart and soul into our entrance to Mexico through Cancun. A few hours before the start of the set-up for the exhibition, the production and logistics teams are fine-tuning every detail to give a WELCOME, in capital letters, to all the institutions, authorities, Mexican companies, foreign companies, and attendees who have registered to not miss a single moment of this two-day gathering.

This show goes beyond the commercial aspect and I am sure it will be a personal and business experience that will open doors to new and productive relationships very soon.”

Academic agenda

The event will start at 9:00 a.m. with a solid agenda of conferences in the Costa Maya Center Room. The opening will be in charge of Miguel Ángel Ochoa, President of the Association of Permit Holders and Suppliers of the Entertainment and Gaming Industry in Mexico (AIEJA); Fernando Calderón, President of the National Gaming Society of Peru (SONAJA); Antonio Benítez, Delegate of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Government of the State of Quintana Roo; and José Aníbal Aguirre, Founder and CEO of GAT Expo.
