The Venetian Resort in the Las Vegas Strip announced it will grant year-end bonuses to all employees for the third straight year, as part of its Venetian Appreciation Award program.

The initiative, designed to reward staff contributions to the property’s financial and service goals, will provide full-time employees with a $1,250 pre-tax bonus in their final 2024 paycheck. Part-time and on-call workers will receive prorated amounts based on their hours worked over the year. Since the program’s inception in 2022, a full-time employee has received a cumulative $3,500 in additional compensation.

“We are thrilled that we have been able to provide a distribution to our team members annually since 2022,” said Patrick Nichols, President and CEO of the Venetian Resort. “It helps bring joy to the holiday season and is a reflection of the contributions of our team members throughout the year. This helps contribute to the sense of pride and service we deliver every day.”

The announcement comes as the Venetian pursues a $1.5 billion capital reinvestment project, which includes the renovation of more than 4,000 hotel suites, a $188 million makeover of the Expo center, and new restaurant and lounge offerings. The resort, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024, has also seen 99% of workers voting for a new union contract in August under Culinary Local 226.

Despite the bonus program and investments, the Venetian laid off fewer than 50 management-level employees in November, including several long-serving staff members who had been with the resort since its opening in 1999.
