SBC Summit Rio, taking place at the Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro on February 25-27 is right around the corner, and organizers, in understanding of the importance of having an effective marketing campaign, have highlighted some of the stand-out panels set to take place across the event, exploring the topics set to be discussed and the notable speakers.

With the rise of digital platforms, brands must master everything from social media campaigns and engaging content, to high-ranking SEO websites and selecting suitable brand ambassadors. With the recent regulation of the Brazilian market, brands now have the added consideration of whether their marketing efforts are adhering to the newly established regulatory framework,” organizers noted.

Master localized marketing and CRM

This panel will bring together marketing experts to help brands come up with effective campaigns that resonate with Brazilian players. How? By answering questions such as:

  • How do I convert and then retain users through targeted and localized campaigns?
  • How do I improve my understanding of the Brazilian audience?
  • What are some CRM best practices that will be handy in markets like Brazil?

The panel will pick the brains of some of the most successful marketing agencies, affiliates, and CRM platforms in Brazil: Thamillin Valery Klen (CEO, Maior Apostas), Tarcio Santos (Marketing manager, Adsterra Brasil) and Muriel Le Senechal (Solutions Consultant, Fast Track), as well as João Alves (Marketing Director, Nossabet).

Maior Apostas, despite launching in Brazil only in 2022, has already become a trusted voice in affiliate marketing with its betting guides and responsible gambling messaging. Adsterra, a global advertising network with a dedicated Brazilian branch, brings over a decade of experience in marketing to players, contributing valuable insights on effectively engaging Brazilian audiences. Fast Track, specializing in CRM and player engagement, entered Brazil in 2023 and has since played a key role in helping brands navigate the regulated market. Providing a perspective from an established operator in Brazil is João Alves, Marketing Director at Nossabet. Alves’ inclusion will provide a first-hand account of the success and challenges of successfully marketing in the Brazilian market.

The panel will be moderated by Marcos Santos, co-founder of the digital marketing agency e-Traffic, who will bring his expertise in paid traffic, SEO, and Brazil-specific market insights to the discussion.

Picking the right face for your brand

In this panel, our experts will talk about how streamers, celebrities, and social media stars can transform your brand. They’ll share tips on picking the right ambassador, why it matters, and how it can boost your brand’s reputation.

The panel will feature Anastasia Zaichko (Chief Marketing Officer, Famesters), Luiz Felippe Correia de Almeida (CEO, Smart Social Brasil), Luis Soares (Head of Business Development, KR3W), as well as Thomas Rosander (CEO, Luckbox). Here’s what makes these speakers so valuable.

Famesters and Smart Social know the influencer game inside out and are experts in connecting brands with influencers, so their inclusion here is going to massively benefit the discussion. KR3W helps influencers succeed by connecting them with audiences and building partnerships to elevate their careers. Luckbox is a company that uses brand ambassadors (like Paul ‘Redeye’ Chaloner) to further its impact and, therefore, understands the importance of choosing the right talent.

Together, these companies represent a well-rounded mix, bringing diverse perspectives and expertise to the table.

Fresh approach to marketing and ethics

How are Brazil’s new regulations changing the marketing game? The panel will discuss the latest rules (what’s allowed and what’s not), how companies should focus on social responsibility and ethical advertising, and how protecting consumers while still running successful marketing campaigns is absolutely achievable.

The panel will feature experts Thamillin Valery Klen (CEO, Maior Apostas), Marco Elias (Compliance and Marketing Expert), Fred Motta, Co-founder, VÖR Consulting), and  Monara Shainny (CEO, Segurobet).

Elias brings over 30 years of experience in compliance and marketing (quite impressive), while Motta specializes in compliance issues as a consultant, having worked with multiple brands on strategies to navigate regulatory compliance effectively. Segurobet is a Brazilian operator with a strong track record of collaborating with local sports teams, pop stars, and influencers, so they also have plenty to contribute to the discussion.
