Nearly 3.5 million customers, or about half of FanDuel‘s user base, engaged with My Spend, its new responsible gaming (RG) dashboard, during the 2024-2025 NFL season.

My Spend gives users detailed insights into their deposits and betting activity, including amounts deposited and net winnings over the past week, month, or three months. 

The tool also encourages the use of FanDuel’s existing RG features like deposit and wager limits.

To promote My Spend, FanDuel launched an advertising campaign during the NFL playoffs across TV, digital, and paid social media. Consumer testing showed that three out of four customers who saw the campaign agreed the tool helps players track and manage their gaming.

FanDuel is also introducing Deposit Alerts, which allows users to set daily, weekly, and monthly budget limits and receive notifications when they hit their target. The feature is available in the Responsible Gaming section of the FanDuel app.

We want our customers to know what they are spending and to ensure they are within their comfort zone,” Jill Watkins, senior commercial director of Responsible Gaming at FanDuel, said in a press release.

Since the launch of My Spend, we’ve seen a meaningful rise in engagement with tools that give our customers the ability to create a personalized plan to manage their play,” she added.

Moreover, FanDuel is also planning additional responsible gaming advancements in 2025, focusing on early intervention for at-risk behavior. “FanDuel aims to set the standard for consumer protection as a legal operator, leading the way in creating a sustainable industry that only a licensed and regulated market can provide,” it said.
