ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate Barcelona have been ranked among the top 5% of global trade shows, according to research agency Explori.
Explori, which analyses data from over 7,000 events worldwide, reported that both exhibitions achieved standout Net Promoter Scores (NPS), a key measure of attendee satisfaction and their likelihood of recommending an event.
ICE Barcelona recorded an NPS of +67, up from +50 in 2024. iGB Affiliate Barcelona increased its score to +68, up from +62 last year. Both events are now well above Explori’s 36-month global trade show benchmark NPS of +29.
“The transition of ICE and iGB Affiliate from London to Barcelona has been a big success from an attendee advocacy perspective,” said Ben Haley, Senior Research Manager, Explori Media Ltd.
Attendee satisfaction was also high. ICE Barcelona 2025 received a rating of 4.45 out of 5, an increase from 4.3 in 2024. iGB Affiliate maintained its strong score of 4.46.
The positive data has been echoed by key industry stakeholders, including the European Casino Association (ECA). Hermann Pamminger, Secretary General of the ECA, praised the Barcelona editions for exceeding expectations.
He also highlighted the strategic design of the venue, which included separate conference facilities on the first floor and cutting-edge technology that enhanced the overall experience.
“Thoughtfully designed common spaces in front of the conference rooms fostered valuable networking opportunities, allowing industry professionals to forge connections and exchange ideas effortlessly,” Pamminger stated.
“The choice of Barcelona as the host city proved inspiring, with its compact nature and efficient transportation system making it incredibly easy for attendees to navigate between the Fira and other key locations,” he added.
ICE and iGB Affiliate will return to Barcelona in 2026, following their record-breaking debut editions this year.
