
MGM Resorts International has announced the appointment of Dame Donna Langley, Chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, to its Board of Directors. Langley becomes the 13th member of the board, bringing experience in entertainment programming, marketing, and content strategy to the role.
Langley oversees greenlight decisions at NBCUniversal and manages all entertainment programming and marketing for Peacock, Bravo, and NBC, including primetime and late-night programming. She also leads global creative strategy, business operations, production, acquisitions, and distribution across NBCUniversal’s portfolio of film and television studios.
Paul Salem, Chair of the MGM Resorts board of directors, welcomed Langley’s addition, noting her potential contributions to the company’s evolving vision. “Donna will be a tremendous asset to the board and to the company as it continues pursuing its vision to be the world’s premiere gaming entertainment company,” Salem said.
“Her entertainment background and experience, especially in areas like content strategy, programming, distribution, and marketing, will be invaluable as she offers her guidance to the Company and its leaders.”

Langley has received multiple industry accolades, including being named to TIME Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” and Fortune Magazine’s “100 Most Powerful Women in Business” in 2024. She has also been recognized by CNBC’s Changemakers, CNN’s “Risk Takers,” and Hollywood Reporter’s “Entertainment Power 100.” In 2020, she was awarded the title of Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (DBE) by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
