SBC is evolving its strategy in the Americas by uniting SBC Summit North America and SBC Summit Latinoamérica into one powerful gathering—SBC Summit Americas. But while the Fort Lauderdale event now unites both markets under one roof, SBC’s commitment to Latin America remains strong, with a dedicated ‘Latin America’ conference track ensuring in-depth discussions and insights tailored to the region.

The event will also feature dedicated tracks for North America, ensuring continuity for attendees of the predecessor editions.

According to SBC, the educational program around the LATAM region will provide stakeholders with the opportunity to address specific concerns through dedicated market deep dives, strategic guidance on navigating complex regulatory and licensing frameworks, and insights on maximizing market presence.

On the inclusion of the LATAM track, SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark commented: “There’s still so much to learn about LATAM, and that will remain the case as regulations evolve and technology advances. A dedicated LATAM track is essential, allowing industry professionals to focus on regional trends and opportunities.

“While some companies operate in both regions, many are exclusively focused on LATAM and will benefit from tailored discussions. That said, I encourage our LATAM audience to explore the North American tracks as well—there’s a wealth of knowledge to be gained from both regions, which is precisely why we unified these events.”

The ‘Latin America’ conference track, running from May 14-15, will kick off with a deep dive into key Latin American markets on the opening day. Sessions will cover navigating Brazil’s and the Caribbean’s licensing models, exploring the Andean region, and examining the symbiotic relationship between the Spanish and Latin American gambling industries. Additionally, a panel will cover strategies for securing transformative sports partnerships.

On the second day, the educational program will shift towards player safety and responsible gambling, with sessions addressing the latest safeguarding technologies, building more robust and effective gambling education programs, and understanding the consumer rights of bettors. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a session analyzing the impact of Peru’s recent licensing framework.

Latin America’s presence will extend beyond its dedicated conference track, with several other panels incorporating region-specific discussions.

The Affiliate Leaders Summit track will feature sessions on entering the Latin American affiliate market and optimizing traffic acquisition. The Player Protection Symposiumprogram will highlight key issues such as tackling underage gambling in Latin America and how effective player protection initiatives can spur sustainable commercial success. Meanwhile, theLeaderstrack will bring together key figures from across the region to explore the potential of Latin American markets beyond Brazil.

Notable experts set to appear across the Latin American-focused panels include Beatriz Martorello (VP Legal Latam, Rush Street Interactive), Carlos Fonseca (CEO, Gaming Law), Cecilia Valdés (President, ACCJ), David Fica (CEO, LandVegas), Fellipe Fraga (Chief Business Officer, EstrelaBet), Iliana Pineda (Chief Legal Officer, Wplay), Julio Cesar Tamayo (CEO, WPlay), Laura Gago (COO, Betandeal), Maria Jesus Barreiro Roel (VP Legal & Regulatory Affairs, Betwarrior), and Karen Sierra-Hughes (Vice President, Latin America, Caribbean & Spain, GLI), alongside many more.
