The Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) has signed a major sponsorship agreement with global betting and entertainment company VBET. As part of the deal, VBET has become the “master sponsor” of the BSOP, the largest poker circuit in Latin America.
Attracting professional and amateur players from Brazil and around the world, the BSOP is one of the most prestigious series on the global poker circuit.
Meanwhile, VBET continues its rapid expansion in Brazil, driven by partnerships in major sporting events. One of them is the sponsorship of football club Botafogo, the current champion of the Copa Libertadores and Brasileirão.
According to Devanir Campos, co-CEO of BSOP, VBET’s investment will have a significant impact on the Brazilian poker and betting market.
“This is the largest sponsorship deal for a poker event in history, and will certainly further accelerate the growth of an already expanding market. The partnership will allow the creation of larger events and new attractions, both in-person and digital,” he said.
As per the betting company, this collaboration is designed to bring players and brands closer together. There will be a strong focus on brand activation, exclusive promotions, and interactive experiences during BSOP events.
“Our goal is for this partnership to be long-lasting and bring exceptional results for both parties. Through creative activations, exclusive promotions, and an enhanced poker experience, we hope to jointly drive the growth of this market,” commented a representative of VBET.
The partnership will begin at the next Brazilian Poker Championship event, the BSOP São Paulo. The event is currently taking place from March 13 to 19 at the WTC Sheraton.
