ally’s Corporation has rebranded its Casino KC, previously known as Isle of Capri, as groundbreaking for its $40 million redevelopment project nears.
The Rhode Island-based operator announced the changing of its property’s name on Monday, and revealed that it will now be known as Bally’s Kansas City Casino.
The company has already replaced the building’s exterior entrance sign on Monday, but the full rebranding will not be completed until the first half of 2022, as it will also include a reskinning of the casino’s riverboat-themed exterior to replace it with modernized color-changing angled panels and a 35,596-square foot retail and dining frontal addition.
The groundbreaking, which is open to the public, is scheduled for 11 a.m. August 18th, and the construction is expected to last a year.

“We are proud to bring the Bally’s brand to Kansas City as part of what we believe will be a transformative redevelopment of the property.
