The Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE) Awards 2022 took place November 23 at Hotel Marinela in Sofia, Bulgaria, “with lots of smiles, music and dancing,” organizers described.
The event featured “the best and most innovative” companies and products in the gaming industry throughout Europe. Hosted by presenters Yoanna Dragneva and Miroslav Dimitrov, 18 crystal statuettes were handed out in individual categories.
Some of them included “Most Recognizable Company in the Gaming Sector of the Year”, “Best Equipment Supplier of the Year”, “Best Overall Responsible Gaming Program”, “Online Platform of the Year”, and more.
“The great mood was always on, while the branch representatives applauded the success of their partners and competitors,” BEGE organizers wrote in a press release.
Angel Iribozov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of the Gaming Industry in Bulgaria and initiator of the exhibition, said at the beginning of the ceremony: “We are together again, stronger and more confident after the two years that have passed. BEGE has returned in the best way possible – with new ideas, products, services and platforms that impress and gain respect.”
“Our industry is being transformed by the accelerated development of technology. Tonight we will honor companies from the industry with the prestigious BEGE awards. May this recognition give them the energy to conquer new heights in the gaming industry,” he concluded.
The evening continued with a program that included guest star singer Polly Genova and band, and Kamelia; and performances by Ballet “Megami”.
