Fitz Casino & Hotel, located along the Mississippi River in Tunica, announced that its hotel is undergoing renovations to become the newest member of the Trademark Collection by Wyndham hotel chain. The property includes a full-service casino with over 850 slots, table games and a sportsbook.
Scheduled to transition this month, the 9-story, 506-room hotel has seen several notable upgrades including new furniture, flat-screen televisions, an indoor pool, and an exercise facility. Additional highlights include an all-you-can-eat buffet and many other restaurants such as Fuddruckers Grill, Baskin-Robbins and The Market General Store.
“Designed for travelers seeking distinctive, attainable accommodations in sought-after destinations, each hotel within the Trademark Collection by Wyndham brand maintains its own unique attributes,” the company said in a statement. Some of the hotel’s rooms feature balconies and views of the Mississippi River.
The Tunica, Mississippi property is the latest in the brands’ global growth trajectory over the past five years, with approximately 125 hotels in the U.S., Canada, Belize, Mexico, Saint Maarten, Curacao, Australia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Belgium.
