GreentubeNOVOMATIC‘s interactive gaming division, announced Tuesday it has acquired a majority stake in Malta-based IT company AlteatecThe deal allows Greentube to “significantly bolster its own B2B offering” by utilizing Alteatec’s iGaming management system and platform technology Olympus One.

In a press release, the company shared plans to improve its content portfolio by using Alteatec’s live dealer streaming and voiceover technology, “further cementing its reputation as a leading supplier of content to the iGaming industry.” Combining Alteatec technology with Novo Unity, the electronic table games technology of NOVOMATIC, will enable Greentube to provide “360-degree solutions,” both offline and online. 

Established in Austria in 2001, Alteatec has built a strong reputation for itself as a global supplier of solutions in the iGaming sector, says Greentube. Its core product Olympus One was deemed by the company as a “leading iGaming management system” and it has also developed other solutions including the Alteatec Safe Server.

Olympus One is not only a state-of-the-art system that offers Bonus Engines, Duel Tournaments, and other gamification tools but also implements a new approach that connects the online world with land-based arcades and casinos via the new Landbased Connection and Partner modules,” said Greentube.

As part of the acquisition, Greentube CEO Thomas Graf and COO Georg Gubo will become Managing Directors of Alteatec, alongside current Managing Director Christian Sael.

Earlier this month, Greentube announced the launch of Mynt, a “revolutionary” new technology stack for producing and supplying games. Greentube Mynt comprises several modules with a state-of-the-art Remote Gaming Server (RGS) at its heart.
