McGinley has worked across B2C and B2B gaming for more than 25 years, most recently at Funfair after a spell as director of games studios for Entain.
Prior to this, he was program director at RNG Foundry, game studio lead for Casumo and studio manager at Odobo.
McGinley also had spells with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Vertex Studios, Blue Monkey Studios, Rockstar and UDS.

Business consolidation
The appointment came as Yggdrasil also announced a change in its business structure. The provider will consolidate its Product and Programs and Studio verticals into a single unit, operating under the ‘Gaming’ banner’
This switch, Yggdrasil said, will increase company transparency, streamline processes and offer numerous operational benefits.
This could lead to improved product roadmap quality and development process assurance, more agile content delivery, increased cross-company knowledge sharing, and a focus on player and operator needs.
