Station Casinos’ Durango Casino and Resort is set to officially open on November 20th in the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley. Ahead of the date, the new resort is now accepting reservations for luxury rooms and suites for stays arriving on November 21st.
The property houses 27 suites in total and seven types of suites. These include two executive suites, 10 salon suites, 10 parlor suites, two terrace suites with a patio, three city suites, a vista suite with a patio, and a veranda suite with a patio. Last month Red Rock Resorts, the parent company of Station Casinos, secured the final regulatory approval for the $780 million project.
“With the launch of reservations for Durango Casino & Resort, we are one step closer to ushering in the next era of Station Casinos properties,” said David Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “We look forward to welcoming our very first guests to the Southwest Valley’s newest gaming resort destination.”
KNTV cited casino officials who said that the 1,800-square-foot Vista Suite is the most expensive at $4,399 per night. The suite has an 85″ ultra high-definition television, dining room, private pool table, butler pantry, and 24-hour butler service as well as a corner balcony. There is also an optional second bedroom. From there, suites go down in price to $899 per night.
As for the luxury rooms, they start at $399 per night and are about 488 square feet. The rooms have either a king bed or double queen bed with city or mountain views, a fully stocked mini-bar, and a 65-inch TV.
Durango Casino & Resort, in a blog post, detailed each suite’s amenities, which are as follows:
The Salon Suite is a 1200-foot suite with two optional connecting guest rooms and offers the “best in entertainment” with a 75” ultra-high-definition television, complete with an in-room Crestron smart control system. “The Salon Suite has been set up to not only meet the needs of each guest but to exceed expectations,” the blog post notes.
The Parlor suite has been “intentionally crafted to elevate the traditional Las Vegas experience” and incorporate the surrounding area “with a sense of place,” the blog post says. The spacious one-bedroom king suite also comes with the option to add a two-queen connecting room. The living room features a 75” ultra high-definition television, floor-to-ceiling windows, an intimate dining room, and a wet bar complete with a hand-craft cocktail dream bar set up.
The Terrace Suite is located on the 15th and 16th floors of Durango and has a curved waterfall-edged bar, a backlit library, a dining room, and a corner balcony for catching the sunset. The spacious one-bedroom suite comes with an optional double queen connector and is equipped with everything needed for “a luxe Vegas vacation” – well-appointed furnishings and amenities.
City Suites sit on both sides of the tower, which offer “stunning views” of the iconic Las Vegas skyline or nearby Spring Mountains. The suite contains an 85″ ultra-high-definition television in a spacious living room, an eight-seat dining table, a curated bar experience, a butler’s pantry, and “all the necessities for a Vegas weekend.”
Vista Suite is located on the top floor of the Durango Resort and provides dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and a “dramatic” freestanding tub overlooking the desert, along with top-of-the-line personal care items and amenities.
Veranda Suite is a 1,500+ sq. ft. penthouse in the sky and is found on the highest floor of the Durango hotel tower. Durango Resort promises a “plush living room environment while watching the lights of Las Vegas shimmer through floor-to-ceiling windows.” The suite offers one to two bedrooms and is equipped with top-of-the-line personal care items and amenities.
The Executive Mountain Suite features a black soaking tub offering picturesque views of the nearby mountains from floor-to-ceiling windows. Premium design touches complement the room’s luxurious and plush amenities including a walk-in wardrobe.
