Gaming testing and certification services provider Gaming Laboratories International has announced the promotion of three long-standing employees to the position of Director of Engineering across various international markets.
Harinder Grewal, Antonio Grida Cucco, and David Jimenez Gracia have been appointed Directors of Engineering with additional responsibilities in their regional areas and in the global oversight of their teams, suppliers, regulators, and operators. Each has been with the company for more than 10 years and all have risen through the ranks from testing roles within GLI’s Engineering department.
“While each of these leaders makes their own unique and valuable contributions to our team, the one thing that Harinder, Antonio, and David all have in common is ownership. It’s easy to recognize, support and encourage leaders like them, and I applaud their accomplishments and achievements,” said GLI Chief Delivery Officer Mackenzie Haugh.
Grewal has been with GLI since 2008, working his way from Test Engineer 1 to Test Engineer 2, Senior Engineer, and Technical Manager, all at GLI’s Netherlands lab. Cucco has a background in technical compliance and has been with GLI Italy since 2016. He began his career at GLI as Technical Group Manager before becoming Senior Manager of Engineering. Gracia has a long history of engineering in the gaming industry and has been with GLI since 2012. Most recently, he served as Technical Manager for GLI Spain.
Last month, GLI announced the promotions of Ginnie Hollis and Samantha Powell to Vice President positions. They will focus on the support and development of their teams, regulators, suppliers, and operators in their respective verticals globally. Hollis, based in GLI’s Colorado, USA office will work primarily in the digital gaming space and Powell, based in GLI’s Adelaide, Australia office will focus on the land-based gaming space.
