Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched the Fanatics Sportsbook in Indiana. Sports bettors living in and visiting Indiana can now download the Fanatics Sportsbook on iOS and Android to begin wagering. Indiana marks the fourteenth state for the Fanatics Sportsbook.

In August 2023, Fanatics began acquiring the US businesses of PointsBet and planning the migration of PointsBet customers to the Fanatics Sportsbook app. Now in Indiana, each PointsBet customer’s username, password, account balance, rewards points, and responsible gaming settings will be automatically migrated to the Fanatics Sportsbook.

Fanatics also runs online sports betting in Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. Moreover, PointsBet retail betting venues operate in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Fanatics promises fast signup, easy betting, and transparent withdrawals as part of its sports betting proposition. The company also highlighted some of the main features of its sportsbook product:

  • The Fanatics Sportsbook app was built natively on iOS and Android. The design, speed, and quality of the navigation experience rival the sports betting apps in the market today that were not built specifically for iOS and Android, says the company.
  • FanCash: The sportsbook gives customers up to 5% of their wager back in FanCash. Every dollar of FanCash is a dollar to spend on bonus bets or Fanatics.com.
  • Discover: Data including marquee games, key stats, and trending bets, is delivered to the Discover feed for easy access.
  • Search: Fanatics Sportsbook offers users search functionality, including a search bar, recent searches, autocomplete, synonym/alias, and deep linking. Customers can search for the bet they want and bet directly right from the search results.

Fanatics isn’t the only operator seeking to build a presence in the Indiana market. Earlier in January, bet365 also entered the jurisdiction, making it the eighth state in the US where the operator offers betting, following launches in Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Iowa, and Colorado. The launch in Indiana is in partnership with the French Lick Resort.
