SAGSE Latam celebrates its 32 years of history this year with a new edition taking place at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel and Convention Center on March 20 – 21, where it expects to gather the main representatives of the land-based and online gaming industry, filling the halls of the convention center with the main suppliers, operators, and regulators of the region.

Alan Burak, Vice-President of Monografie and one of the main organizers of the event, anticipated that this year the MVP (Most Valuable Players) of the gaming industry will be present, “playing key roles in decision making” and making up an audience that is representative of Latin America as a whole.

It should be noted that, being a “closed and exclusive” format event, SAGSE seeks to offer once again “a high-quality experience and a highly qualified audience.”

In terms of numbers, those responsible for the event expect to have at least 2,500 C-Level visitors, “among which not only executives with great decision-making power stand out, but also the main regulators and government authorities from Argentina and other countries in the region.” Additionally, the organizers announced that although the admission quotas are almost full, those who wish to participate in the event can register here.

When analyzing the conferences, the 2024 edition of SAGSE X will focus on topics such as the evolution of the market and its variables, trends, and regulations in the online gaming industry, with a series of talks and panels led by regulators from all of Latin America. In addition to this, the current situation of online gaming, the new regulations, the mandatory compliance requirements of the UIF, the fight against illegal gaming, and the legislative situation country by country will also be discussed.

“SAGSE Latam 2024 is projected as a catalyst for the development and growth of the gaming industry in Latin America. Sector unification initiatives will be discussed to strengthen the regional positioning”, Burak said.

Proyecto Brazil

Within the framework of the fair, Monografie authorities announced that the Brazilian market will significantly stand out with the introduction of Proyecto Brazil. This innovative concept “will establish an exclusive embassy for Brazil, called Project Brazil, which will serve as a common space designed in a lounge style to facilitate meetings and networking focused on the Brazilian market,” Burak explained.

There, entrepreneurs, operators, and regulators will be present, “as part of a non-political and decentralized space, but with a focus on business and networking,” he added.

“Located at booth 300 in the SAGSE Acquisition area, Project Brazil will offer a unique experience by recreating a piece of Brazil within SAGSE Latam. If you want to know what’s going on in Brazil, this is the place to visit. The space has been created in response to the need to provide a dedicated platform for the Brazilian audience, which represents approximately 34% of SAGSE Latam’s total audience. Today SAGSE Latam has the largest audience in Brazil in terms of audience,” the organizer emphasized.

“Proyecto Brazil will provide a welcoming environment, with lounge areas, meeting tables, and interactive areas for presentations, allowing Brazilian attendees to connect amongst themselves as well as with the international audience coming to SAGSE from across the region, and establish key business relationships in a comfortable and conducive networking environment,” he concluded.
