iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam have become the first major in-person iGaming expos since February 2020 marked the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The co-located events kicked off Wednesday September 29 at the RAI Amsterdam, with Clarion Gaming Portfolio Director, Naomi Barton, giving her opening speech.
“Everyone who is part of the 2021 edition of iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam is in their own way contributing to a little bit of history”, she said. “Delivering the first major live gaming event to take place since ICE London was held in February 2020 was never going to be an easy or straightforward task, but I have to say that our customers have been absolutely outstanding in their support. My team has been brilliant, frequently going the extra distance, and the venue team at the RAI could not have worked harder”.

Having removed all COVID-19 restrictions, iGB Live and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam has become not only the first event of this kind to take place in this post-pandemic scenario, but also one where the new normal is at its peak.
“Our theme for 2021 is ‘Reconnecting iGaming’”, she continued. “Which is exactly what’s taking place here in Amsterdam. The industry hasn’t had a chance to meet face-to-face for such a long time, and this week is an opportunity to reconnect with customers and colleagues, and have the type of conversations that so often end up generating new ways of doing things”.
Companies such as CT Interactive, BGaming, Better Collective, Slotegrator and GOLD Sponsor EGT Interactive, among others, are present at the RAI, showcasing their products and solutions.
“I hope this week will be a celebration of the business and the people who make the sector so dynamic and so exciting to be a part of”, Barton concluded.
iGB Live/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam will have its closing day on October 1st.
