Sportsbook and iGaming operator Rivalry Corp. is set to present at the Canadian Gaming Summit 2024, slated to take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on June 18 – 20. Rivalry Co-founder and CEO Steven Salz will share insights on how to engage Millennial and Gen Z consumers at the expo.

Salz will join other industry experts in a panel discussion at 11:45 am on Thursday, June 20, titled “Next-Gen gamification: engaging Millennials and Gen Z.” The panel will explore gamification strategies that resonate with, and capture the attention of the next generation of bettors, from social gaming to loyalty, and interactive storytelling methods.

The Canadian Gaming Summit is an annual conference and exhibition for gaming and sports betting executives from across Canada and beyond, offering three days of networking, learning, and exploring business opportunities.

The event is expected to attract 2,000 delegates from the casino, sports betting, payments, technology and investment industry, according to its organizers.

Rivalry’s participation at the event follows its announcement in late May of a positive Q1 performance for the company, with its casino segment fueling a surge in betting. During the period, the company saw strong growth with a betting handle of CAD94.7 million ($69.2 million), an 11% increase from Q4 2023.

The company has also recently announced the launch of Rivalry Token, a native crypto token on the blockchain. The launch of Rivalry Token, anticipated to arrive in H2 2024, represents one of several initiatives to expand Rivalry’s footprint in the crypto gambling market and better serve its core audience of 30-and-under bettors, the business explained.
