The Florida Lottery has announced the launch of the 2024 NASCAR Powerball Playoff Bonus Play Promotion, running from July 1 through July 31, 2024. During this period, NASCAR fans and Powerball players can enter their winning and non-winning Powerball tickets for a chance to win a VIP trip to the NASCAR Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway and compete for a $1 million prize.
Participants can enter by submitting any Powerball ticket purchased within the entry period via the Lottery’s website or mobile app by midnight on July 31, 2024. Each ticket entry corresponds to its purchase value, potentially increasing the odds of winning.
On August 1, 2024, 50 players from Florida will be selected to join a national pool, from which 16 semi-finalists will be chosen. Each state lottery will advance no more than one semi-finalist. These semi-finalists will then participate in elimination drawings for cash prizes and a chance to advance to the final rounds of the NASCAR Playoffs.
The four finalists will receive a VIP trip for two to the NASCAR Championship Weekend at Phoenix Raceway, scheduled from November 8 to November 11, 2024. These finalists will also participate in the $1 million grand prize drawing, which will be broadcast live on NBC just before the start of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race.
Since joining Powerball in 2009, the Florida Lottery has contributed over $2.96 billion to education statewide. Florida remains one of the top-selling Powerball states, with over 137.1 million winning tickets totaling more than $3.74 billion in prizes, including 16 jackpot winners.
