Missouri’s 13 casinos reported adjusted gross revenue (AGR) of $154.7 million in June, marking a 5.1% decline from May’s $163 million, according to the latest data from the Missouri Gaming Commission.

Despite the monthly drop, June’s revenue nearly matched the figures from June 2023, with a slight year-on-year decrease of $300,000 (0.2%). The casinos welcomed 2.3 million admissions during the month.

Slot machines generated $132.7 million, table games brought in $22 million, and hybrid machines contributed $54,000 to the total revenue. Among the top-performing casinos, Ameristar St. Charles led with $24.8 million in revenue, followed by Rivers City Casino with $20.9 million, Hollywood Casino with $20.6 million, Ameristar Kansas City with $16.3 million, and Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa with $14.1 million.

Some casinos experienced double-digit revenue declines, including Isle of Capri Booneville, Harrah’s Kansas City, Horseshoe St. Louis, and Mark Twain Casino.

The number of customers entering casinos fell by 2% year-on-year. However, some casinos showed positive year-to-date revenue performances, with Century Caruthersville up 7%, Hollywood Casino St. Louis up 1%, Century Casino Cape Girardeau up 2%, and Bally’s Kansas City up 6%.

Missouri’s performance remained stable compared to other states, which saw declines in casino revenue.
