Ramón Cubián, the General Director of Land and Delegate for Management and Gambling Regulation, recently toured Zitro’s technology campus in Barcelona. The visit was focused on exploring Zitro’s facilities dedicated to developing video slot games, video bingo, electronic bingo, and the work of Zitro Digital, the company’s online gaming division.

Cubián was accompanied by senior executives from Zitro, including Manuela Jiménez, Vice President; Marta Cuesta, Vice President of Product and Development; and Cristina García, Director of Institutional Relations. The tour included an overview of the various departments within the technology campus, highlighting their roles in the development and production of Zitro’s gaming products.

The Barcelona Campus employs over 550 people and spans 12,000 square meters. It serves as the central hub for research and development, product creation, and the manufacturing of Zitro’s gaming solutions.

The facility includes video and sound recording studios, and a dedicated plant for the assembly and quality control of gaming machines. The campus also emphasizes environmental sustainability, featuring a 528-square-meter solar panel installation and a charging station for electric vehicles.

“We are honored to have welcomed Ramón Cubián to our Technology Campus. We were delighted to showcase the very place where Zitro’s talented team brings to life unique experiences for players around the globe,” Manuela Jiménez said.

Earlier in the month, Zitro also hosted Ceuta authorities at its Barcelona campus. The company welcomed the Minister of Finance, Economic Transition and Digital Transformation of Ceuta, Kissy Chandiramani, and the Managing Director of Ceuta Tax Services, Enrique Reyes, to its facilities in Barcelona on Wednesday.
