Gaming provider Zitro has welcomed a Sant Quirze del Vallès City Council delegation to its Barcelona Technology Campus. Headed by Mayor Elisabeth Oliveras, the delegation toured the Campus facilities and learned about the work that goes into each product and the team behind it.

“Zitro’s Technology Campus reflects the company’s dedication to innovation and technological advancement,” the company stated. Over 600 professionals, including mathematicians, artists, engineers, and developers, are employed across a 12,000 m2 building divided into various departments essential for Zitro’s operations.

To continue supporting Zitro’s rapid growth, the team of professionals is expected to increase significantly, the company announced. For this reason, the campus will soon expand with a second 6,000 m2 building, located in the same business park.

Marta Cuesta, Zitro’s VP of Product and Development, said: ‘It’s an honor to invite the mayor to visit our Technology Campus in Sant Quirze del Vallès. We strongly believe this visit offers a great opportunity to explore potential collaborations between Zitro and the City Council to foster our community’s economic and municipal growth.”

Regarding the future expansion of the Campus, Cuesta stated: “Our project is rapidly growing, and we believe that the City Council’s support can be crucial to driving this development forward. The new Technology Campus, located just a short distance from the existing one, will bring numerous benefits to Sant Quirze del Vallès, such as job creation and attracting top talent to the area.”

In other recent news, Zitro earlier this week announced a partnership with the Bingo Godel Quilmes, further expanding the supplier’s Mega Lounge concept in Argentina. The Buenos Aires province gaming hall has launched Mega Lounge as part of a recent expansion, reinforcing its commitment to Zitro as a strategic partner.

Mega Lounge, located in an exclusive area of the gaming hall, combines different cabinets and a wide game library with various themes and mechanics, informs Zitro. These games share an interconnected Mega jackpot progressive. Bingo Quilmes’ gaming floor now features up to five Mega Lounge, each packed with Zitro cabinets.
