Brazilian sports betting and casino site Aposta Ganha announced that it officially obtained its sports betting and online gaming license from the Betting Management System (Sigap) to operate in Brazil’s regulated market.

As a result of this decision, Aposta Ganha became one of the first betting platforms to be regulated, with the registration number 0022 in Sigap, as highlighted by the company.

Aposta Ganha has been operating in Brazil for the last six years and, according to the bookmaker, with this new license it is now “perfectly positioned to thrive in the new regulated environment,” complying with the rules of the Ministry of Finance’s Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA).

Additionally, the company stated that responsible gaming remains the central pillar of its operations, an objective that was “clear to them even before the implementation of the strict measures established in the SPA’s ordinances.”

With the license, their regulated operations will start as of January 1, 2025, depending only on the SPA’s analysis to obtain the official license from the Brazilian Government.

Hugo Baungartner, CCO of Aposta Ganha Group, said the company is very proud to announce the approval of their application for the federal operating license according to the requirements established by the Ministry of Finance.

Strict security criteria guarantee greater consumer protection and market integrity. Our hard work has placed us in an exclusive group of companies authorized to offer an entertaining and 100% safe gaming experience throughout the country,” he said.
