For the 12 months to 31 December 2024, revenue is expected to reach £28.5 million (€34.3 million/$35.4 million). In a pre-close trading update published today (4 February), Gaming Realms said this would surpass the £23.0 million of revenue in FY23.

On top of revenue growth, the developer and licensor said it also expects EBITDA to increase from last year. For the full-year, EBITDA is forecast to reach £13.0 million, 30% higher year-on-year.

Gaming Realms revels in Slingo growth

In the update, Gaming Realms highlights the success of its Slingo brand of games. During FY24, the company launched its Slingo portfolio with 44 new partners around the world. Gaming Realms introduced its games in West Virginia during the year, marking its fifth igaming market in the US.

“We are delighted to announce these strong results for FY24, which underline the continued appeal of our Slingo portfolio and other unique gaming content,” Gaming Realms chief executive Mark Segal said.

“Our success in entering new regulated markets, coupled with the addition of multiple new partners, has fuelled significant growth.”

‘Encouraging’ start to 2025

Demand for Slingo, Gaming Realms said, has carried over into 2025, with early trading in the current financial year “encouraging”.

This has been helped by the renewal of its licensing agreement with Scientific Games for the Slingo brand. The extended deal, which will run for a further five years, brings Slingo-branded retail and digital games to lotteries in Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and the US.

“We look forward to building on this momentum in 2025 as we broaden our market reach and further expand our innovative content portfolio,” Segal said.

Gaming Realms expects to post its FY24 preliminary results in the week commencing 31 March.
